Dear Partner and Friend,

This summer has passed by faster than I would have liked or imagined. It seems like just a couple of months ago it was February and we were planning events for August and August is here!!! What’s up with that? God has graced us with more opportunities this year to share His heart through movement and His Word. Thank you Jesus!!! The contacts that I have made and the divine connections that I have encountered this year I feel are openings and opportunities for the next year to come already.

We     I praise God for you and have been praying for you and your families through our intercessory board.  We speak and pray God’s increase over your lives, divine health and healing, loved ones to come to Jesus and that you would be drawn closer to Jesus Christ. THANK YOU PARTNERS as you continue to sow your seeds of “FAITH” into this ministry.  All the credit goes to you and the GLORY goes to God. Without your support, there is no J.A.M. Ministries. I am totally aware of that. Without my families’ support, others don’t have an opportunity to experience freedom in Christ through this ministry and without the intercessory board, hearts wouldn’t be prepared to receive. We all need each other so desperately. I praise God for the faithful servants who call on His name and said yes to serve this ministry.

The Back to School Bash was a success. There were about 40 children running around, playing games, getting their face painted, eating pizza and snowballs, and dancing; which is what I envisioned. They had a great time. I led worship as they followed me in movement and did a short teaching on being a soldier for Jesus Christ and what that means. We concluded with anointing them with oil and praying over each one of them. We placed a cross around each one of their necks as a reminder of their commitment to Jesus Christ and to stand for Him and be strong and courageous. We also had a power point demonstration that my pastor, Bertha Patterson put together on Jesus and the pain He bore on the cross for us. It was so POWERFUL. I pray those children will never forget the images of Him being crucified. We all have to be constantly reminded of the CROSS and the suffering and pain HE bore for sinful, selfish us.

The next event was two dance demonstrations the following morning in Georgia. It was the biggest stage I have ever ministered on. I will never forget how it felt under my feet and to have that much room and freedom to move. It was so awesome to be in the company of so many of God’s servants who are called to dance and drama ministries as myself. What a powerful night of God’s presence!!! Let’s just say, I for one, tore up the stage, my garment and my body, but we had some CHURCH!!!!!

“NEVERTHELESS”

God is talking to me about a “nevertheless” attitude. Nevertheless means in spite of that. In Luke 5:4-5 Jesus tells Peter to launch out into the deep and let down their nets for a catch and Peter says, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at YOUR WORD I will let down the net.” To sum it up from my own journal notes, …But God, I’m praying and not seeing a change, I’m fasting, reading, studying, working, I’m hurting, I’m misunderstood, I’m tired, I don’t understand. Quietly but firmly my Lord says, do it anyway in spite of how you are feeling. Love anyway (or in spite of). Give anyway. Speak anyway. Serve anyway. Support anyway. Even if you get nothing in return, do it anyway. This is the time when we have to take on the “nevertheless” attitude. Because you are God, I will obey and do as you have asked me to do because I trust you and love you even when I am hurting and don’t understand, You are still on the throne and have my best interest at heart. Read further on and look how great the reward was after obeying Jesus. In the midst of physical, emotional, and spiritual pain, can we still say, “Nevertheless”? When we do, it proves to Jesus that we believe in Him and trust Him and when He sees faith, HE MOVES. I wonder how many of our breakthroughs and releases are right around the corner waiting for the “nevertheless” faith to come out of our mouths.    Mary had the same “nevertheless” faith. When the angel told her that she would bring forth a child (Luke 1:26-38) and she didn’t know how it would happen, being that she did not know a man, the angel told her that “The Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Highest will overshadow you.” She told the angel, “Let it be to me according to your word”. That is “nevertheless”.  Mary’s thoughts could have been like this; People will talk about me, I could get stoned to death, people won’t believe me, people won’t  want to be seen with me, I will loose my family and friends, NEVERTHELESS  God I want what YOU want  more than what I want. Have your way and let Your will be done in my life. WOW!!!!  Oh, Jesus help us to be a people of “NEVERTHELESS” that we seek to obey you no matter what the cost or how we feel so that your will and plan can be fulfilled in the earth and in our lives and homes in Jesus’ name.

Until next time, let’s remember “NEVERTHELESS”.

Thank you for your faithfilled support. We love you and are praying for you,

In the love of Jesus Christ,
