Dear Partner and Friend,
O.K. what day is it? Where am I again? HA!!!!! It seems like just yesterday I was telling you how many days we had left until Briana’s arrival and here it is two months later that I am telling you about the events that we have planned for the summer. The days are passing by extremely fast, so I praise God that we had things lined up and prepared and planned since before December of 2009. Briana and Zachariah are doing beautifully and I am in awe when I look into those precious eyes and in tears when I look at Zachariah knowing that he is not a baby anymore. He is being a great big brother and wants to constantly take care of her and is very protective already of his baby sister. I have no doubt that together they will do great exploits for the Lord.
My honey did such an amazing job on the newsletters that I was trying to convince him to continue in them. I knew they would be funny and filled with the revelation and wisdom of our Father!!! I am truly a blessed woman to have the opportunity to be his wife and to be the mother of these precious children. What an honor and privilege we have as parents to mold and make our children disciples of Jesus Christ. I know some days don’t feel like we are so spiritual with our complaining or murmuring, pity parties or poor attitudes, but I praise God that He sees what is in us and what we can be and is willing to have mercy and grace upon us. I know it sounds gross, but I got another revelation when I was changing Briana’s poopie diaper. I didn’t love her any less because she made this stinky mess and I was stuck cleaning it up. I knew this was part of her growth and the process in her becoming a young lady; One step at a time. I am not mad at her for pooping all over the place; I know that it is a matter of time and I am willing to wait for her to grow into the next phase of her life. Each phase will bring on new challenges and each phase will bring about change. O.K. are you getting the spiritual principle behind all of this? Jesus cleaned up our stinky mess at the cross and He knows that we are but only human and we have weaknesses. His is willing to shower us with His love, mercy and forgiveness and is willing to wait for us to come to Him and is patient with us in each new season of our lives. He doesn’t make us stop having messes; He simply waits with His arms open wide to come to Him. We absolutely need him. We can’t change our MESS without Him. Only He can truly change us and He knows the amazing potential within each one of us. He is just hoping that we can come to recognize that potential that He has placed within each one of us. I stand amazed with my Father every time I look into the eyes of my children; all of this came from a seed that was planted within my womb. Who can explain it? There are times when I just stare at Briana and she stares at me and we don’t say a word but just revel in one another and are filled with joy!!!! Are you getting it spiritually? Psalm 16:11 says …. “in your presence there is fullness of joy.” When we just take the time to remain still and silent before the Lord and stare into His face, we will find and feel that unspeakable joy, that unshakeable peace, and that unlimited love that we so desperately need, crave, and desire.
O.K. didn’t plan on going this way at all, but I pray every time that I write these newsletters that the Holy Spirit would guide my hands and lead me to say what He would have me say, so obviously someone needed to hear this message. So simple, so plain, so easy to follow. But isn’t that the message of Jesus. Just receive Him and believe Him. It’s us (adults) that make it sooooo difficult. We need to take lessons from children. You tell them and they believe it.
Our events this year are our God’s Girl camp June 21-25 and our Triumphant conference, July 23-24. You can register on our web-site for both of them. If you would like to sponsor a young girl please e-mail me at tessie@jamministries.org for more information or call 985-630-6358. The cost for the camp is $70.00 before June 2nd and the cost for the conference is $40.00 before April 30th. After those dates the prices increase. The camp is for 11-12 year old girls and the conference is for 11 years old and up. I am expecting God to do great and mighty things at both events. I am expecting His presence to fill the place and bring forth healing to hurting hearts, hope to those who have lost strength and courage and deliverance to those who are bound. Who can explain that kind of love? It is so great there are no words nor is there a dance that can ever, ever fully express it or explain it!!!
NEEDS:
- Intercessors that are willing to pray once a week with the intercessory team on a conference call. (Contact me at 985-630-6358) if you are interested in assisting us.
- Persons who are available to assist us with God’s Girl camp and the Triumphant conference.
We appreciate you and are praying for you on a weekly basis.
Thank you for being obedient to sow your seed where our Father is directing you to sow it!
Thanks for your faith-filled support,
We love y’all,
In the love of Jesus Christ,
