January 31, 2012
We are now at ONE week before our registration deadline for our Fundraiser event, “Romance, Dine and Dance.” The deadline to register is February 3, 2012. You can register on-line at www.jamministries.org. This is truly a memorable and special night for couples to come away for three hours of Fun, shopping, good food, music, fellowship, and great conversation. The focus of the event in my heart is to minister to the heart of the married couples. We create things within the evening that not only allow you to learn more about our ministry but an environment of great intimacy for our couples to draw near to one another again. With so many things pulling for our time and attention, NOW more than ever is when we need to put on the brakes when it comes to our marriages and find out what is it that we are allowing to CROWD us out and AWAY from each other! First things must be first in our relationship to God as individuals and as a couple. The best thing you can do for your family is work on your marriage. The best thing that you can do for your marriage is work on yourself! If you don’t celebrate and love you, how are you to love anyone else the way God intended you to.
In the pictures you will see ministry at the “Calling the Commanders Prayer Conference” as well as the “Greater Gathering”. It is time in this hour for us as a people who call on the name of the Lord to rise up and prepare for battle. Fight for our marriages. Fight for our children. Fight for our homes. Fight for our church. Fight for those that are in leadership within the church. God wants the Body of Christ to prepare and take our positions to truly be the SALT of the earth and what better way to destroy that purpose than to take out the Shepherd of the Body. We have got to know God for ourselves without relying on someone else to give us the Word of God. We have got to spend time with our Father daily and get to know Him so that we can reveal His heart to a hurting world and know how to handle conflict the way God intends us to handle it when it rises.
God’s Girl outreach was held in our new HUGE room this week and what an amazing blessing. We have so much more room to run, dance, and play. The girls where not running into walls and there is so much more freedom to do so many more things in this new space. I praise God for giving us so much favor with the Greater Covington Center and the managers and teacher there.
We are also preparing for the Ladies conference in Florida on February 23-27. The whole family will be traveling with me once again as well as a caregiver. I praise God for our caregiver. Without her support and help, we could not do this. This is always such a powerful time for the women of God to come away and be encouraged and refreshed by the Word of God, worship, and great fellowship with one another. I am always encouraged when we go and feel like these ladies are a part of my family. I have been teaching there at least 6 years now and they continue to ask me to come back each year so far. I am truly honored to be a part of this event.
George and I have our teachings now available on our web-site to listen to “FREE” of charge. Go to www.jamministries.org and click on to “Links” and select the teaching that you want to listen to. We will be working to put it as a podcast that you can download to your form of technology, but for now this is what we have to work with! CHECK IT OUT, IT IS FREE!!!!
Let’s make a commitment in the month of February to truly show our spouse and family how special they are to us. Tell others in your life how special they are to you NOW!!! I think it is so sad that at a funeral someone will say something so good about the person that is dead. Most of the time that person didn’t even know what they meant to you or others. So why wait until the funeral to say something, say it NOW!!! Tomorrow is not promised!!!
Show us Heaven’s moments Daddy God. Show us how and where and when to put on the brakes as it relates to our spouse and family. Show us how to appreciate and cherish TODAY cause:
Today won’t be here tomorrow,
In the love of Jesus Christ,
